OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD
Operation Christmas Child is the largest Christmas children's solidarity project in the world run by the NGO Samaritan's Purse a non-profit evangelical charity. This solidarity project began in Wales, sending humanitarian aid and volunteering with children in orphanages in Romania. Since 1990, shoeboxes filled with original gifts, hygiene and school supplies have been sent to more than 111 million children in need in 130 countries around the world. Last year, people from all over Spain got involved in schools, churches, town halls and companies to participate as part of this special international volunteering.
Operation Christmas Child offers the opportunity to be supportive and help the needy children of the world without leaving the neighborhood. It is very simple, you fill a shoebox with original gifts, school supplies,hygiene and any other original gift that makes a poor child happy. Then you take the box to a Delivery Point and we pick it up, inspect, ship and distribute it in countries with need. Never being supportive and volunteering internationally was so simple.
